14. Battery Run-Down Times For Gaming, Presentations And DVD Playback
We measured battery run-down times for three standard applications:
DVD playback:We played a DVD video (Apollo 13) non-stop until the battery was empty Presentation:
We ran a presentation in an endless loop until there was no more juice left Gaming:
This discipline is based on the four gaming tests in the 3DMark2001 SE.
We set the power scheme to "Portable/Laptop" in all three tests.

As it is equipped with a generously sized, heavy battery, the G40's excellent run-down times can hold their own with those of a notebook based on a mobile CPU.
