3. Inside Out, Continued

The shell of the XPS is very similar to other Dell laptops, such as the Inspiron 6000 and 9300, but there are also some major differences. The first is that the bottom of the case is painted black compared to the silver color of the other model. The brushed silver cover contrasts with the base nicely and is adorned with illuminated XPS lights on the left and right side of the panel.

The XPS lights can be changed to suit your preference or mood. In the front corners and on each side there are lights that can change color. This is a nice feature for LAN gamers.

Gamers can be in the dark yet still have a little illumination to grab that bottle of high octane energy drink. The low profile of the keyboard and the angled front edge also make this a good design for gamers.
