The package contains the scanner, a CD with the Twain driver and application software, the manual and a USB cable. The USB cable has two purposes. Firstly, the scanned documents are transferred to the PC via USB.

Charging and data transfer: The Docupen R700 communicates with the PC's USB connection via this port.

Secondly, it's used to recharge the Docupen R700's battery as soon as it's connected to a USB port.

Planon also throws a padded bag made of real leather into the package. It protects the scanner against dust and mechanical interference when you're on the move.
