Microsoft has also greatly simplified setting up of connections. The new Connection Manager offers an intuitive interface for setting up your connection to a Virtual Private Network via PPTP or IPSEC, giving you reliable access to the corporate server even when on the road.

Making connections easier: Windows Mobile 2003 provides a VPN client via PPTP or IPSEC.
Windows Mobile 2003 also supports Bluetooth and WLAN connections as standard, which will simplify connecting to WLAN hotspots or Bluetooth devices.
