Conclusion
The FIC MB05 has all the features retailers as well as what users expect from a modern, portable PC. Our test results show that a Pentium M clocked at a "mere" 1.4 GHz is more than sufficient to run all common programs fast. A four-hour battery life with the WLAN module deactivated ranks among the heavyweights. The same goes for the notebook's actual weight, which at nearly three kilos is a lot to lug around frequently.
