4. Benchmark Results

We drew on the performance results of the Asus M2N to assess the Averatec 5110HX. Like the 5110HX, the M2N is a Centrino notebook, but with a higher clocked CPU (Pentium M 1.6 GHz) and a faster hard drive (5400 rpm). At 14.1", the M2N's display is slightly smaller; its battery capacity is somewhat larger (68 Wh).

System Performance: Sysmark 2002

Because of the slower hard drive and the CPU's low maximum core speed, the Averatec 5110HX loses out to the Asus M2N. Nevertheless, its capacity is more than adequate for typical office applications.
