In summary, Showcenter 200 is a mature product and it supports the latest HD formats. These upgrades also allow the product to evolve with time. The quality of audio and video reproduction is good but I would have loved to see a DVI socket. Photos benefit from amazing display stability in native resolution which, for the first time, allows quality slideshows on an LCD TV.

If you go for the Showcenter 200, for HD you'll need to have a suitable broadcast medium. For cable-based networking there's no problem. If you're using wireless, HD broadcasting is at the throughput limit, and you'll get some glitches. Therefore, you'll have to make sure that you have optimal signal quality.
