5. Power Supply And Battery

The power supply delivers 90 watts of power and can fully charge the battery in less than 2.5 hours.
The power supply/AC adapter for the LW60 Express is relatively small, but it includes a bulky power cable with built-in fuse; the whole thing takes up lots of space in a notebook bag. Those who regularly shuttle notebooks between home and office should seriously consider spending the $90 or so on a second PSU brick, to avoid schlepping this monster around.
The standard battery for the LG LW60 Express is a 6-cell 55 Wh unit, which retails for about $140. Those who need more power can purchase a high-performance unit with 9 cells, which can increase battery life by up to fifty percent. At the NCIX.com site, a high-performance battery goes for nearly $200; other retailers offer it at prices up to $205.

The notebook ships with a 6 cell, 55 Wh battery.
