22. Audio - QuickPlay
Using the audio button on the remote takes you straight into QuickPlay's audio interface, without requiring any prior menu navigation.

The user interface for the audio player is both simple and friendly.
The audio player software can access music files on a CD or DVD in the optical drive, but it can also access files in the Windows "My Music" folder. This provides access to audio files in the Windows partition without requiring Windows to startup.
HP also includes energy saving functions in its QuickPlay software. If no functions are activated within 10 minutes, the notebook automatically turns itself off.

If the remote isn't handy, the multi-media buttons above the keyboard can be used to run QuickPlay instead.
The version of QuickPlay we tested was 1.30 DJ. Should HP release a new 2.0 version, it should be possible to download it from the HP support Website.
