The Unreal Tournament engine is primarily based on DirectX7, but incorporates features of DirectX8 as well. To push the GPUs to their limits in UT2003, we set up our demos at the maximum detail settings possible.


In the Flyby Demo, the G3 did not perform as well as the previously-reviewed MR9700. It was up to 10 FPS slower in XGA (1024x768) resolution.


In Inferno, the G3 outperforms the other MR9700 by 2-3 frames despite the memory speed handicap of 47MHz.
