Screen Brightness, Contrast And Uniformity Conclusions
The Fujitsu Lifebook P1510D's screen brightness stands out, with a score of 145, which is only four candelas per square meter lower than the top rated Sony VAIO VGN-T350P. Unfortunately, the P1501D's blacks are not as black as those of the other computers we tested, leaving it with a contrast score of only 69. However, the P1510D still delivers a sharp, bright picture with enough contrast for most viewing environments.
Based on both standard deviation scores for 64 brightness measures taken across its display and a plot of these measures, the Lifebook P1510D exhibits very good spatial uniformity of brightness. Except with very expensive LCD displays, standard deviation scores tend to be higher with brighter displays.
