The XPS 720 H2C is available with either Windows XP or Vista, so we tested both configurations.

Several readers of our recent System Builder Marathon wanted to know how our high-end system would stack up to a super-high-priced Ultimate PC. Others were completely disgusted that we hadn't chosen a Quad Core processor in our configuration. In response to a variety of requests, we'll use our high-end system as a baseline for comparing the Dell XPS 720 H2C Edition PC.
