As for system performance, the system with the Mobile Athlon64 behind it has a clear lead over the Pentium-M system.

If Yakumo were to fit quicker DDR333 memory in its notebook, it could squeeze another three percent in system performance. What's more, it wouldn't cost a cent extra. And if the system had recognized the DDR400 memory we used for the test as such, system performance would have probably risen by up to five percent.

Because of the lower fixed CPU speed on the Q8M Power64 XD, system performance in battery operation may drop around 40 percent to 129 points. But it's still at a very high level.
