Comic-Themed HDTVs Costs Under $900
LCD and LED HDTV's for the comic-loving geek in all of us.
Roundtable Concepts Inc. (RTC) and Marvel Comics announced Tuesday that they have partnered to create the "Ultimate Comic Fan's Television," addressing the leotard-clad-hero-loving geek in all of us.
The new RTC23 line consists of LCD and LED HDTV's featuring famous Marvel characters such as Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Wolverine, Thor, and many others.
According to the announcement, the character of your choice will be placed on the bottom two corners of the frame-- they also appear on the screen for around 8 seconds while booting up the TV.
RTC said that the LED HDTVs are offered in 40 and 46-inch sizes, and the LCD versions come in 22, 32, 42, and 55-inch sizes.
Interested Marvel fans can order the displays online. The 42-inch Wolverine LCD costs around $879 USD, whereas the 46-inch Hulk LED HDTV will cost comic lovers around $1,989 USD.

Silly
Hulk no like Hulk smash
Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy stickers?
Vizio FTW
Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy stickers?
Yes but then it won't be authentic original. I know enough comic book geeks to know that matters.
I hope the TV in the photo is a mockup designed by someone's 4-year old kid and not the product Marvel actually intends to release.
Brillant idea. No self-respecting comic book collector would ever unbox it for fear of losing 'MINT' status.
OMG DONT OPEN THE PACKAGING!!! IT'LL LOSE VALUE!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO
If it's 1080p I'd say I'd buy it, and then just disable the silly comic book character 8 second pop up.
8 seconds, Thats ridiculous.
Nowdays people just want their TV's to start up a lot faster than its now.
8 seconds, Thats ridiculous.
Thank you, I was about to say the same thing.
I'm tempted to think the superhero splash screen is there to cover up this horrible boot time.
Worst TV Ever.
8 seconds!? But I want to watch my cartoons nooooowwwwwwwww!!!!!!
Hmmmm...Collectibles? Buy one for each super hero. Leave in box. Store properly for many years. Sell at a profit?
