32" PDP Prices Drop To Unprofitable Levels
Prices for 32" PDP panels have been driven down to unprofitable levels by continued price declines for LCD competition, according to industry sources.In May 2008, 32" LCD TV panels were priced at $320, which prompted PDP suppliers to drive down their 32" prices to $280-290 in order to stay competitive against the more popular LCD panels, the sources remarked.
