Analog 7" LCD Panel Prices Drop Below Production Costs
Prices for 7" analog panels, which are mostly adopted for digital photo frames, have fallen to as low as US$15, a price that panel makers would not be able to derive profits from, according to SC Lin vice president of small- to medium-size TFT business at Chunghwa Picture Tubes (CPT). Lin said 7" analog panels priced at US$15 are already available in the market, and suppliers can hardly make a profit out of such a low price.
