LCD Panel Makers Gear Up For 14" Notebook Panel Production
With notebook vendors expected to launch 14" models soon, LCD panel makers are also gearing up the development for the new size segment, according to industry sources. Vendors, such as Lenovo, Asustek Computer and Acer, are expected to roll out 14" notebooks in the fourth quarter at the earliest, with an aim to subsequently replace the 14.1" segment as the mainstream in the 14" class, the sources said.
