Nike is having a huge Black Friday sale on its best-selling running shoes — 5 deals I’d shop now

At first glance the Nike Black Friday sale doesn’t look all that impressive, at least if you’re on the hunt for some new running shoes. While using the code BFRIDAY will net you 25% off on several popular styles, that’s not as big a saving as I’ve come to expect from Nike having tracked their sales in recent years.

There is a secret to unlocking bigger discounts within the Nike sale, however, which is to scan through the many different color options available on popular running shoes like the Nike Pegasus 41 and Nike Zoom Fly 6.

If you find one that’s already reduced in the sale, you can then stack the 25% off from the BFRIDAY at the checkout to get a real bargain, and using that method you can get the Nike Pegasus 41 for just $69 at Nike right now.

As a running shoe reviewer I’ve picked out the best deals on sneakers I think are available at Nike right now, and explained how exactly to get the best price on them below.

The Nike Downshifter 13 is a good option for new runners or those who do their running on a treadmill as part of wider gym workouts. It's not the most cushioned or energetic Nike shoe, but does the job and it's very cheap in the sale. There are a couple of colors of the men's and women's shoe reduced to $48, which drops to $36 when you use the BFRIDAY code at checkout.

This is a corker of a deal on what I rate as the best running shoe in the Nike range. The Zoom Fly 6 is a great all-rounder, with a comfortable but fast ride that works well for all kinds of runs. The best deal on the shoe is on the red color of the women's shoe, which is $124 in the sale and then $93 with the BFRIDAY code. The best deal on the men's shoe is the light blue color, which is $101 after using the BFRIDAY code.

The Vomero 18 doesn't actually use the BFRIDAY code for this discount. Instead any color you see with 'see price in cart' listed gets a 20% reduction, bringing it down to $124. The Vomero 18 is a max-cushioned cruiser that's ideal for protecting the body on long and easy runs.
