The affordable 360 C50 robotic vacuum is a 2-in-1 cleaner for all your floors

Robot vacuums aren’t as expensive as they used to be. There are still some ultra-premium models that map every inch of your home and hunt down dirt, but there are plenty of affordable models that can still take help out around the house. 360 Smart Life’s C50 is one such affordable model, and for its price, it does a lot of things differently from the competition.

Many lower-priced robotic vacuums just do the basics, offering some light vacuuming power and next to no navigational prowess. In fact, it can be quite a pain to watch them work as they simply bump around the room at random until they’ve covered most of – but maybe not all – the floor.

By contrast, 360's C50 vacuum has a level of autonomy and smarts from a higher class of robot vacuums. It actually follows a zigzagging pattern in rooms to make sure it doesn’t miss a spot. With the remote control, you can also set it up to perform a variety of other cleans, including a deep spot clean that can help take care of a spill.

Since you can let 360's C50 run on a schedule, the device’s autonomy is quite important. It’s designed to be able to get over obstacles, slip under furniture (it’s only 3.1 inches tall), and has sensors to avoid collisions as well as drops, so you don't have to remember to block off the stairs when the vacuum is running. It can also head back to its charger when it’s done vacuuming.

Thanks to its 90-minute battery life for typical cleaning or 120-minute maximum runtime and its large 510ml dust bin, the C50 can get some lengthy cleaning jobs in. And with a powerful 2600Pa of suction, this robot vacuum can pick up even large debris.

Of course, vacuuming is only half the equation when it comes to cleaning your floors. Once the vacuuming is done, it’s time to mop. Luckily, the C50 has that covered, too. By simply swapping out the dust bin with the 300ml water tank, the C50 can go back around your house mopping up the floor it just previously vacuumed. The water tank is built with smarts to let it distribute water in different levels to meet the needs of the floor.

All these smarts make the C50 a strong addition to the smart home, and that goes double if you use a Google Assistant or Amazon’s Alexa. 360’s C50 supports voice control. So, if you’re out running errands and want to do a little last minute clean before having company over later in the day, you can just tell your smart assistant to run the vacuum.

All in all, the C50 is a fairly capable robotic vacuum, and it comes in at the low price of just $159.
