Unlike a traditional ISP that requires a router and a visit from a technician, Mint Mobile's plan relies on a wireless gateway that connects to the nearest T-Mobile cell tower and broadcasts Wi-Fi throughout your home. Even better, the gateway can be installed without the need for a technician.
