9. Benchmarks - Synthetics

Mostly a test of graphics capability, Überclok’s 8800GTX SLI set leads Dell’s 8800GT SLI set by around 30% in 3D Mark 2006’s system test. Cranking up anti-Aliasing and anisotropic filtering settings drops Überclok’s average lead to 28%.

3D Mark 2006’s SM2.0 test gives the higher-priced Überclok Reactor a 33% average performance lead, but activating anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering drops that lead to 23%.

SM3.0 hammers the older but more elaborate 8800GTX cards of the Überclok Reactor to a smaller 24% average lead, while enabling anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering further drops it to 22%.

3D Mark’s CPU test show the Überclok Reactor’s high overclock with a 49% performance lead both with and without anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering enabled.

with the exception of Supreme Commander and Warhammer. The games tested are clearly last generation. Why are you still running DX9 games to benchmark a DX10 system? get something there to actually stress the system a little bit.

Would like to go higher than 4 but my abit FP-IN9 mobo refuses. The same with everyone else who has this board. Point is, you should get your e8400 up to 4.4 at least with a OC friendly board.

Check out those settings. Apparently raising the cpu vvt voltage quite high can help a lot with stability.
extra cooling for the northbridge would be a good idea though.
