Keenwood Energy Sense Kettle is for Geeks

But does it whistle?

Awesome transparency and energy-saving eco-friendliness unite in the Kenwood Energy Sense Kettle. Heat is directly transferred to the H2O through an array of printed heating elements. This spreads the warmth more evenly and allows water to boil faster, leading to less energy usage. The transparent casing—lined with volume indicators—makes it easy to boil only what you need.

The Kenwood Energy Sense Kettle is definitely the kettle for geeks. The styling is decidedly contemporary, featuring a transparent minimalism appealing to technically-minded peeps. Electronic enthusiasts might also go for the Kenwood branding, which is usually seen plastered over radios and electrical equipment. It's not clear however if this kettle whistles like its old-school counterparts.

The only caveat with this proposed replacement for your home heating solution? The $70 list price.
