Art Lebedev's OLED Keyboards from $462
Chicago (IL) - If you found the $1564 price tag of Art Lebedev’s OLED keyboard to be outrageous, how does $462 sound? Of course you don’t get quite as many OLEDs for that.
The Russian design studio recently updated its website with information about a few more configurations for its “Optimus Maximus” OLED keyboard. Besides the flagship model for $1564, there are now three more options for less money.
The differences between the models boil down to how many keys integrate OLEDs. $1564 buy a full LED version with 113 LED keys. 47 active OLED keys (all letter keys) will ring up at $999, 10 OLED keys (function keys) will cost $599 and if one OLED, integrated in the space bar, is enough, you will have to pay $462.
Art Lebedev expects to ship all configurations in late February 2008.
