Government Worker Logged Into Porn Sites 780K Times

Kinokawa (Japan) - A Japanese government official has been demoted after he visited porn sites nearly 800,000 times at work. The worker is currently based in Kinokawa in Western Japan and logged more than 780,000 hits on adult sites from June 2007 to February 2008. He was especially prolific in July 2007 with 170,000 hits.

Interestingly enough none of his coworkers noticed his pornographic surfing and he apparently was able to complete his regular work duties. He probably would have gotten away with everything, but a virus infection alerted IT staff to his computer and his surfing habits.

If he hit 170,000 porn pages in July 2007, over 22 work days and 8 hours a day, that's 965.9 pages per hour or 16 pages a minute. I know he's Japanese, but that's incredible efficiency. He should have been promoted, though I'm guessing that those were image downloads or something like that.

Those japanese know how to handle their porn. Imagine, he did all that and still finished his work. That's worthy of some sort of award. Maybe someone should call Guinness
