Samsung's Galaxy Note to Receive Android 4.1 Premium Suite

Samsung has confirmed that its Galaxy Note phablet will receive the Android 4.1 Premium Suite update.

The Galaxy Note site reveals that the upgrade will deliver Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, accompanied by the Premium Suite, which offers several of its own features.

Multi Window support, for one, allows users to view and perform multiple tasks on the same screen. A Popup Note option, meanwhile, allows you write down information while on a call. A Popup Video and a Popup Browser lets users view a video or surf the internet while performing another activity.

Photo Note and Photo Frame allows users to write notes on the front or back of images, while Easy Clip enables the cropping of text or an image from any screen to save or share it.

Elsewhere, the S Planner offers the ability to send handwritten notes to yourself, with the Enhanced S Note feature allowing users to create notebooks with images, videos, templates and other effects.

The Galaxy Note page didn't make mention of when or how the Jelly Bean update will make its way to the tablet's owners. The Galaxy S3, meanwhile, recently received the Premium Suite upgrade.
