Samsung Galaxy Note Upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Samsung has released the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update alongside a series of Premium Suite features for the original Galaxy Note.

Depending on region and mobile network, the upgrade may be available immediately over-the-air or through Samsung's Kies desktop software.

The Galaxy Note has received the Google Now app and Multi Window functionality that allows users to employ two apps simultaneously without switching screens. Page Buddy is also included; it launches a window sporting relevant apps such as when a user utilizes the S-Pen or plugs in headphones.

Other features include a customizable notifications panel; the Galaxy Note 2's Smart Rotation component, which sees the screen orientation adjust itself according to the viewing angle, accompanied by two homescreen modes; motion controls such as Direct Call, Smart Stay and Pop-up-play; as well as Project Butter -- it delivers a smoother user interface experience.
