On-demand streaming company Blinkbox is using its power for good and giving back. In case the news passed you by, actor Ryan Gosling recently revealed plans to take a break from acting for a while. Gosling, 32, said that he needs to take a step back from his career and reassess 'why [he's] doing it and how [he's] doing it.' Though he has a couple of upcoming movies in the works, Ryan's fans are pretty distraught. In an effort to appease the Gosling-mad public, Blinkbox has set up a helpline.
The helpline is called the Gosline and will play a clip of Ryan Gosling talking for those that dial in. The clip is the reassuring monologue from Gosling's "The Notebook," and it goes like this:
"So it's not going to be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're going to have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever. You and me, everyday."
Blinkbox announced the helpline via its Twitter account last week and said Monday that the line had been busy over the weekend. The company also started a #josbforGosling hashtag on Twitter, encouraging followers to suggest new careers for the actor.
