Quanta Remained Number One Notebook OEM In Q1 08
DisplaySearch has released its Quarterly Notebook PC Value Chain Report for the first quarter of 2008 showing that Quanta Computer was the top notebook PC OEM maker, and Hewlett-Packard (HP) was the top notebook LCD panel customer of Samsung, LG Display and AUO. In the first quarter of 2008, 32.9 million notebook LCD panels were shipped by panel makers, but only 31.1 million notebooks were shipped by notebook OEMs, according to the report.
