HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 delivers advanced health and fitness tech in a slim and stylish smartwatch
Huawei has expanded its wearable portfolio with the new WATCH FIT 5 Series, which blends fashion, health tracking, and smart technology into one, delivering a mix of new features at an accessible price tag for experienced users and first-time wearable owners alike.
The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5, including the WATCH FIT 5 Pro and WATCH FIT 5, deliver excellent battery life up to ten days and quality-of-life features like contactless payments, with a fresh perspective on workout tracking thanks to a new Mini-Workout functionality. They’re also iOS and Android-compatible.
The Huawei WATCH FIT 5: Accurate, built-in fitness tracking for everyone
One of the most unique features of the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 and FIT 5 Pro is the new Mini-Workout mode, which offers an adorable digital panda to help you get a workout in wherever you are, and regardless of whether you have equipment or not.
Want to get in a few lunges between meetings, go for a walk on your lunch break, or do some neck rotations while working from home? The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 fits workouts around your hectic schedule.
It’ll also automatically detect when you’re cycling and switch to showing you virtual power and cadence metrics without you needing to find the relevant option. The Huawei WATCH FIT 5 Pro also includes a Trail Run mode for segment-based navigation, real-time ETAs, and elevation trends, as well as vector mapping for golfers for over 17,000 global courses.
Hardware-wise, the new lineup offers plenty of bang for your buck, too. The Huawei WATCH FIT 5 offers a 1.82-inch display, while its Pro counterpart reaches 1.92 inches, ramping up the brightness to a huge 3,000 nits with an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz to 60Hz depending on what you’re using it for.
That’s on top of health tools like atrial fibrillation analysis and an ECG (electrocardiogram) app (Pro model only), alongside improved sleep features, including sleep breathing awareness and nap tracking.
Both devices also include new high-silicon battery technology, which means they last as long as you do. A single charge can hit 7 days of regular use, while light use could get you as many as 10 days of tracking.
Users can also make easy, instant, and independent payments with the introduction of Curve Pay on the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5, bringing with it the convenience (and security) of contactless payments on your wrist.
All of this comes in at an impressive price, too. The Huawei WATCH FIT 5 starts at £159.99 in the UK, while the Huawei WATCH FIT 5 Pro is £249.99.
If you pick one up before June 21, you’ll also get an additional watch strap and the Huawei Scale 3 to track your measurement, as well as the Huawei WATCH FIT 5 MultiPass for three months of premium sport and fitness apps.
Tom’s Guide readers can even use the promo code ATG40 for £40 off the FIT 5, or ATG50 for £50 off the FIT 5 PRO.
