Hilton deal lets kids and teens stay free — what you need to know

The new school semester will be here before you know. If you're planning one last summer getaway, Hilton is offering a special deal the whole family can enjoy.

For a limited time, kids and teens (17 and under) can stay and eat for free at select all-inclusive properties. Offer must be booked by July 31 for travel through December 17. A maximum of one free kid/teen per registered adult and maximum 2 kids/teens per room applies. This offer is valid for Hilton Honors members only. (It's free to join at Hilton's website).

This offer is valid at select properties in n Mexico, including Cancun, Tulum, and Puerto Vallarta. Children must be 17 or under to qualify for the offer. Additionally, a maximum of one free kid/teen per registered adult and maximum 2 kids/teens per room applies. This offer is for Hilton Honors members only.

The loyalty program is free to join and rewards you with points on every stay at all of Hilton's brands. Points you earn can then be be used for free nights at any of Hilton's more than 9,000 hotels and resorts worldwide. There are five tiers to the program:

Member: Waived resort fees on rewards stays, complimentary Wi-Fi, access to exclusive Hilton Honors Experiences, the ability to choose which available room you’d like up to 24 hours in advance, digital check-in/check-out, and digital key through the Hilton Honors app.

Silver: All Member benefits plus fifth night free accommodations on reward stays, free bottled water, and a 15% all-inclusive spa discount.

Gold: All Silver benefits plus space-available room upgrades and a complimentary daily food and beverage credit of up to $25 available at all Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, and more.

Diamond: All Gold benefits plus exclusive lounge access, elite status gifting (which lets you share Gold status with other HH members), 48-hour room guarantee, and Milestone Bonuses of up to 10K bonus points after 40 eligible nights.

Diamond Reserve: All benefits plus Confirmable Upgrade Rewards, guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, dedicated customer service desk, and complimentary access to nearly a dozen of Hilton’s Premium Clubs.
