Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S12 delivers powerful, premium hardware that’s ready anywhere
Samsung designed the Galaxy Tab S12 series to be more powerful, efficient and portable, making it the right device for students who are always on the move between classes, study halls, libraries and dorms.
The new 3nm processor inside delivers a 19% CPU and 17% GPU performance boost compared to its predecessor, and the NPU used for AI work is a whopping 61% faster than the one in the Tab S11 Ultra.
This newfound power allows students to work through projects and homework faster than ever, and it all keeps cool even under sustained load thanks to a 3D Vapor Chamber that better dissipates heat. All this power and the means to keep it cool fit into a Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra that’s just 5.1mm thin.
Despite the significant improvements to performance, the Galaxy Tab S12 series won’t distract you with low battery life warnings every few hours as you try to complete a project. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is capable of up to 23 hours of life on a single charge, with the Tab S12+ hitting 21 hours. Better yet, you can get a full charge in only about 45 minutes, so late-night study sessions won’t leave your tablet out of juice in the morning.
The Galaxy Tab S12 series is ready to go wherever and whenever you need it, and that convenience can’t be overstated in the life of a busy student.
Helpful AI boosts productivity and makes multitasking a seamless endeavor
Each Galaxy Tab S12 comes with a helpful and powerful Galaxy AI presence that boosts productivity and enables advanced multitasking, giving students more tools to hit deadlines, more tools to gain knowledge, and, ultimately, more time to enjoy their personal interests.
Gemini Notebook, for example, is an AI-powered library of notes, images, recordings, files, and anything else you decide to add. Students can use it to summarize key details, to compare information across lectures, to keep tabs on group projects, and even to generate quizzes to help cram for exams.
Note Assist works in tandem with Samsung Notes, giving students quick summaries or answering questions in the background as a lecture continues. Need some throughlines for the research you’ve been doing? Samsung Browser AI understands what you’re seeing across multiple tabs and your history, making it incredibly easy to dig up a small bit of info you recall reading.
Third-party apps frequently used by students, like Adobe Photoshop and Notability, now come pre-loaded and ready to go from day one, and there are many more useful apps available at a discount when used on the Galaxy Tab S12.
The best part is that these apps and tools can be used simultaneously with the Galaxy Tab S12’s Multi Window support, making multitasking easy on the gorgeous Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays. With up to a 14.6-inch display at a crisp 2960x1848 resolution, the screen feels anything but cramped, even with multiple apps open.
And if you do prefer an external display for larger projects, the onboard Samsung DeX tool is standing by to deliver a true desktop experience.
Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem and accessories complete a package perfect for students
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S12 series only becomes more capable when you add accessories like the S Pen, Pro Keyboard, or Book Cover Keyboard Slim.
The mighty S Pen, bundled with each Galaxy Tab S12, is an ergonomic wonder that makes note-taking and sketching a breeze whether you’re at a desk or on the go. If you prefer a more laptop-esque setup, the Pro Keyboard delivers a sturdy aluminum frame, comfy keys, and a sizable touchpad.
For an in-between option that's more fitting for life on the move, the Book Cover Keyboard Slim is a lightweight folio cover, adding protection and convenient keys to your Galaxy Tab S12 tablet.
