I test a lot of the best soundbars, but only one holds the title of the best mid-range soundbar and subwoofer. That soundbar? The Samsung Q600F, which is just £299 at Currys right now.

Even at full price — £599 — this is a very affordable soundbar, all things considered. If you want Dolby Atmos, you're going to have to accept paying extra for the room-filling, expansive soundscape that comes with immersive audio. Quality speakers don't come cheap, and that's just a fact.

Samsung Q600F: was £599 now £299 at Currys

Yes, you can save literally £300 on this soundbar and subwoofer right now. This is the best soundbar deal I've seen this Black Friday. You get true Dolby Atmos for just £299 — that's crazy value.

Price check: £254 at Amazon, but third-party seller, so proceed with caution.

If you've got a Samsung TV, the perks don't end at room-filling sound. With some AI-enabled 2025 models, you get access to things like Q-Symphony, which is basically a fancy auto-space-calibration mode. I didn't use this with the Q600F, and I didn't miss anything, though. The soundbar still sounds like a cinema — literally.

The Q600F is the entry-level model in Samsung's premium Q range. This means it sounds awesome, but it doesn't have as many "features" as the pricier options. But honestly? You don't really need them.

The Q600F doesn't have any smart home features, but do you really use those anyway? So what if you can give your vacuum a silly name, or get a notification when your washing machine finishes? (Both features I have thanks to my AI-enabled Samsung washing machine and vacuum, yes... really...)

What the Q600F lacks in smart home "features", it makes up for in punchy sound. The sound on this soundbar is like nothing else. On top of crystal-clear dialogue and floorboard-shaking bass thanks to the standalone wireless subwoofer, the Q600F has vertical and horizontal expansive sound.

When I was testing this soundbar, I couldn't believe how affordable it was. It genuinely sounds like a £1,000 option. You can check out my full review of the Samsung Q600F for more details.
