5. Matrox DV Driver
Premiere supports the Microsoft DV codec as a video format. Matrox also integrates a proprietary DV codec which should be the first choice when working with it. This is the only way to take advantage of the functional scope of the real-time effects.

Settings for the Matrox DV format: option to switch between 4:3 and 16:9 image ratio.

For the proprietary Matrox DV codec, the chroma conversion can be specified for YUV and RGB color spaces.

Capture and export settings in IEEE1394/ FireWire connections.

Cropping (fitting image selection to frame), and buttons for real-time effects.
