After seeing stable pricing in most of the second half of last year, prices for 42" PDP modules edged up by $5 in November, and moved up again by 5% in January, triggered by seasonal factors. Therefore, SD and HD modules are estimated to be sold at a price of $370 and $375, respectively, in January. On the other hand, 50" PDP module prices also stabilized, and the same sized LCD panel prices were relatively higher, indicating that the decline in newly launched 50" full HD module prices has been very slow.
