The MB02's faster CPU, made especially for it, gives it a small head start over its rivals in processor and memory performance. The hard drive, however, is very slow off the mark.


In terms of 3D performance, all three systems crossed the line together. But that's no surprise given that all three use the same integrated graphics core (82855GM) in their chipsets to process 3D data.
Although this solution is unsuitable for modern 3D games, older FPS games such as Quake 3 Arena perform more or less smoothly at mid-range resolutions.
