4. Setting Up The FIC MB02

Before starting with the notebook's final assembly, you should turn your undivided attention to the training videos and PDF documents on the service CD provided.

Short film sequences with sound track show the customer which screws need removing to open the case and where particular care is needed when assembling components.

Once you've studied the training video, you can start assembling the CPU, RAM and WLAN module. First, remove the keyboard cover.

The barebones with keyboard cover...

... and after the cover has been removed.

The keyboard and the cover underneath it can now be removed.

The keyboard and its felt underlay have already been removed.
