A 'Realistic' Gun Attachment for Modern Warfare 2
Gimmick, or actual value-adding add-on?
We've all seen the gun attachments for the Wii and the upcoming PlayStation Move motion controller, but now some company is taking it in another direction by offering a gun controller that just replicates the functionality of the regular DualShock PS3 controller.
It's certainly a neat way to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but there isn't any real aiming and shooting involved beyond the use of the thumbsticks as per usual. I suppose if plastic guitars can take off for music games, maybe the same can happen with plastic automatic weapons.
It takes two AA batteries and can still make shooting noises even when there's no gameplay going on, all for $65.

And it doesn't have a motion sensor.... its just a model M4 (or whatever) with the buttons from a PS3 controller on it, so I guess you can use it for any game as long as you don't mind stupid button placement and the silly sound effects.

That is pretty sweet! But I still won't buy it, because they don't have dedicated servers and that gun is not for PC.

nope not for me i can't see caring this thing around and looking like a fool.. if this was like a look and shot at the screen toy i would consider it but other wise you look like a fool. most likely a neighbor is gonna see the reflection of this thing in the window and call the cops thinking your holding family hostage in stead of pointing it to the wall and playing a game.
