Microsoft’s next patchday is just around the corner. The company announced that it will issue eight updates next week, five of them being marked as critical and three as important. All "critical" updates patch remote execution threads. Affected programs include the Windows operating system, the Office suite as well as the Internet Explorer web browser.
Three additional threats, labeled as important, will address a spoofing vulnerability in Windows, an elevation of privilege issue in Windows as well as a remote execution threat in Office.
All patches are expected to become available in the morning of Tuesday, April 8.
