3. Connected And Controlled
The PV1 has a number of options for getting media onto it. The left side has two USB 1.1 ports; one is a mini USB port for connecting to your computer, and the other is a standard size host port for connecting devices such as cameras, USB keys, or external hard drives (sometimes referred to as USB2Go). The right side accepts SD, MMC, MS, and Compact Flash Cards.

Two buttons on the face let you scroll through pictures, videos, or songs, depending on what mode you are in. You can also use them to navigate through the unit's menu. The top holds the power button, as well as context sensitive Play/Pause, Forward, Back, Stop, and "OK" keys.

On the left side you will find the Volume and Mode keys, as well as the headphone jack and video/audio out jack.

The keys and buttons are all easy to access, and after a few minutes, navigating the menus using them becomes second nature.
