Graphics Card and Workstation Vendors Saw Strong Q4'07 Sales

The fourth quarter of 2007 was the strongest of the year for graphics cards vendors, according to Jon Peddie Research (JPR). Following on the heels of an upswing in the third quarter, the fourth quarter saw a big jump in unit shipments, up 50.3% on year and 23.0% sequentially. The fourth quarter also saw record highs in the workstation market, the research firm noted.
