2. A Look Under The Hood

The TV tuner is powered by an Xceive XC2028. This single-chip, multi-standard tuner supports analog TV formats transmitted worldwide, either on cable networks or via terrestrial broadcast.
The A/V decoder is powered by a Conexant chip (CX25840). It features auto detection and configuration for audio/video, comprehensive support of worldwide audio standards (BTSC, EIA-J, A2, NICAM, FM/AM and baseband audio support via 12S and AC 97) and component video support. It also comes with an integrated anti-aliasing filter.

One chip to receive high frequency radio...

... and another to decode it.

I read reviews all over, say its great. its not. do not buy this product what ever you do. only if you play turn based games and are on the road with system + laptop. its not playable for fighting games and the video is honestly the worst video output i have ever seen in a pc product.
