4. Rear View

At first, the number of ports on the rear of the Datago may seem overwhelming, but everything is well-organized and labeled. The tuner inputs are on the left side, video outputs are on the center/top, and the audio ports are on the right. A nice yellow sticker states that you will void the warranty if you open up the box.

Not wishing to exclude the old-fashioned connectors, the Datago accepts coaxial RF In for TV and FM Radio. Please note that Over The Air HDTV signals are not accepted, as the unit does not have an HDTV tuner.

Just to the right of the RF/TV-In are tuners that have the following Video/Audio In ports:

2 X S-Video 2 X Composite Video (Yellow) 2 X Composite Audio (Red/White)

You can output video with the following three ports:

VGA DVI S-Video

The 7.1 Audio out ports round out the ports on the right side:

Left/Right Front Center and Center Subwoofer Left/Right Surround Left/Right Surround Back

The lack of a mini jack for computer speakers may seem to be a glaring omission, but the Media PC is aimed at the sophisticated audio/videophile who probably already has a set of decent speakers. You can easily find adapter plugs that will convert a mini jack input into a ¼ inch plug.
