EA Extends Tender Offer For Take Two For Fifth Time
Electronic Arts once again has extended its tender offer for all of the currently outstanding shares of Take Two common stock. The extension was previously set to expire at 11:59 pm EDT on July 18, 2008 and was extended today until to 11:59 pm EDT on August 18, 2008.
As of last Friday, 11,741,339 Take Two shares valued at about $295 million had been tendered in and not withdrawn from the tender offer.
EA previously offered to acquire Take Two for $2 billion.
