Golf apparel doesn't need to be expensive — I found a brand that does it for less
I love golf apparel. I literally wear golf polos and golf pants or shorts every day of the week. It doesn't matter to me whether I have plans to hit the indoor golf sim or play 18 at my favorite local course; you'll see me wearing a silky-smooth golf polo.
But my problem (and my bank account's problem) is that golf polos are expensive. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of brands like Greyson, Malbon, Redvanley, Turtleson and the like.
However, I also like saving money, which is why I was excited when Quince was first introduced to me. The company sells all kinds of clothing and accessories at transparent, reasonable prices, and they're diving headfirst into golf stuff with simple designs at lower prices than other brands.

As someone with thousands of dollars in high-end golf clothing in my closet, I was understandably skeptical when Quince wanted us to look at its stuff. It seemed too cheap to be any good, but I agreed to give it a whirl, and I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the shirts and pants I tried actually felt.
I spent a day wandering around in the ProTech Golf Pants, which sell for $52, and they held up to a sweaty Connecticut day while keeping me cool enough that I didn't feel like I needed to run into the closet and switch to shorts. I got them in the Riviera Blue because I felt like my closet was missing a good pair of light blue pants, and they'll definitely make their way into my regular rotation.
I also tried a Flowknit Breeze Performance Polo in Olive and was equally impressed with both the comfort and breathability. Of course, it also only costs $36 and is made with recycled materials. Quince even breaks down how much it costs to make the shirt on its website, so you know how much profit it's making (in this case, it costs $16.88 to produce).
The pants we looked at above cost $31.09 to make, and I have to say, there's something nice about knowing that you aren't being taken advantage of — around $20 is a perfectly reasonable amount of profit for a company to make.
The final item I tried out is the same Flowknit Breeze Performance Polo in long sleeve. It's the middle of summer, so it's not really the time to wear a polo with long sleeves, but it'll be perfect once Fall rolls around and I'm trying desperately to squeeze in those last few rounds before winter shuts everything down.
