Restored Retro Supercar Made of Wood

At first glance, this classic Marcos Mantis XP doesn't look like it's anything special; after all, a lot of vintage cars are restored yearly. However, there's more to this car than meets the eye, and we don't mean a robot transformation. Instead, its frame is made entirely of wood.

Yes, you heard that right: wood. Specifically, stressed plywood. This one-of-a-kind -- and we mean that literally, as it's a prototype that never saw production - was rebuilt from the ground up back in 2008, and has spent the intervening years touring car shows, such as last July's Goodwood Festival of Speed.
