In her Tuft & Needle Original mattress review Alison said she felt comfortable in multiple sleep positions, recommending the Original as a good memory foam mattress for most people.

Despite being made from contouring foam, The Original feels firmer than you'd expect. So while lighter weight side sleepers might need more contouring comfort from a softer bed, heavier weight side sleepers, and back and stomach sleepers of all weights, should find it supportive and comfy.

When sleeping on her stomach on the Tuft & Needle Original, Alison said it has enough support to stop back and stomach sleepers sinking too far into the mattress, keeping their spines in healthy alignment.

"As a side sleeper, I found the Tuft & Needle Original provided decent support for my back and hips. This translated into fewer bouts of lower back pain," she adds.
