Just like the heat comes on in winter and the water flows from the tap on demand, our Wi-Fi should always be there to keep us online whenever we're home. And when the Wi-Fi isn't working, it becomes a front-and-center issue. From insufficient hardware to challenging home architecture, a lot can get in the way of a simple and seamless Wi-Fi network. To help tackle these challenges and make setting up a robust network simple, MSI has introduced its own Wi-Fi solution: the Roamii BE Pro mesh system.

Meet the Roamii BE Pro in depth

The Roamii BE Pro mesh router system makes it easy to build a solid Wi-Fi network in your home. There are two key parts to its capabilities. One is the new Wi-Fi 7 protocol, which lets the system handle tons of data and devices — think multiple devices streaming 4K HDR video and loads of smart home devices — while remaining stable and fast for all those connections. The second is that the system actually consists of two pieces of hardware.

By broadcasting the Wi-Fi network from multiple points, you can get more coverage across your home. This is key to ensuring you get strong Wi-Fi in every corner. This means you don’t have to start drilling holes, running wires all over the place or propping two devices up all over to find where they’ll work best. An Ethernet cable is one way to link the two nodes in the Roamii BE Pro system, and it may be ideal if you’re working with thick concrete walls or long distances between the two devices, but they can also be linked by their strong wireless connections. With just these two units, the Roamii BE Pro system is capable of tackling large homes. After installing the main unit where you want it (it has both desk and wall mounting options for more flexible placement), MSI’s app for the Roamii system can even help you figure out an optimal position for the secondary unit.

With the blanket coverage provided by the Roamii BE Pro mesh Wi-Fi system and the strong Wi-Fi 7 connection, you won’t have some rooms that just don’t get Wi-Fi. Instead, you can stream, game and take video calls where you want.

While the Roamii BE Pro was designed with large homes in mind, the Roamii BE Lite is also available for smaller homes, apartments and condos that could still benefit from the extra range, speed and stability of a mesh Wi-Fi 7 system. In those smaller spaces, where you’re likely also closer to neighbors with their own Wi-Fi systems, you’ll also face interference. That’s one of the things Wi-Fi 7 works around with a special feature called puncturing, which lets it punch through the inference to provide more bandwidth.

A suite of extra accessories to stretch that Wi-Fi even further

Just about every device on your Wi-Fi network can enjoy the extra coverage and reliability provided by MSI’s Roamii systems. And since Wi-Fi is backwards compatible, you’ll also get plenty of the upgrades that came along with earlier versions if you’re using some older devices on this network.

But if you want to bring as many of your devices up to speed as possible, MSI has a few extra accessories that can give your systems a boost. With the MSI Herald BE9400 Wi-Fi 7 PCIe Card, you can get your desktop PC up to speed. This simple add-in card slots into a PCIe slot inside your computer and upgrades it to support Wi-Fi 7. Using PCIe provides fast data, and the card has an external antenna to give it a strong signal reception.

For laptops or other devices connected to a USB hub, the MSI BE6500 Wi-Fi 7 USB Adapter is a similar solution. You just slot this into a free USB slot, and it can serve as your link to the network with the extra benefits Wi-Fi 7 brings. Since it’s such a simple, plug-and-play solution, you can even swap it between devices to give each Wi-Fi 7 connectivity as needed.

With MSI’s Roamii mesh router systems and accessories, it’s easy to go from a spotty, troubled and slow Wi-Fi network to one that you simply don’t have to think about.
