The VL System M·Play product family
VL Systems is another company that has jumped onto the multimedia stage along with Soundgraph. They offer three different solutions in their M·Play product family: an external unit that can also connect up to a notebook computer, plus two internal units, both of which include a two-line VFD. The M·Play Blast adds a fan controller with its own temperature sensor, which users can place anywhere they like inside the PC case.
The display capabilities are somewhat more limited for versions of Windows prior to Media Center Edition 2005, because not all functions are available in the retail version without installing additional plug-ins. Only with MCE 2005 can the M·Play Blast and 202 versions really strut their stuff.
