Phone case booths at IFA tend to blur together. Drop ratings. Kickstands. MagSafe-compatible rings. After a while, most of them look the same. The challenge for brands at Messe Berlin this year was proving that a phone case can offer more than another list of specifications. TORRAS believes the Q3 Air Pro takes a different approach.
Rather than treating protection, a stand, and magnetic attachment as separate add-ons, the case brings them together in one design: a dual-layer Air Duet™ system rated for 16-foot drops, a built-in ring that rotates through 360 degrees, an 18N magnetic hold, and Ostand Shot for hands-free shooting and creation.
The Q3 Air Pro runs $79.99 in the U.S. and £65.99 in the U.K. It fits the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, with next-gen iPhone support expected.

At IFA 2026, the case made its first major international exhibition appearance. TORRAS showcased it at Hall 5.2, Booth 151, alongside the Q3 Air and the entry-level Q3 Rugged.
Full protection. No bulk.
That integrated approach begins with protection. One common way to increase drop protection is to add material. More layers. More bulk. Air Duet™ takes a different route.
It manages impact through structure rather than simply adding thickness. A clear outer airbag takes the first hit. An inner matte TPU layer, shaped with a twin-ribbed loop structure, catches what gets through and disperses the remaining force through the case itself.
Cases with similar ratings can turn a slim phone into a brick when protection depends on layers of added padding. The Q3 Air Pro works differently: its Air Duet™ structure absorbs and distributes impact, helping it achieve high-level drop protection without relying on extra layers of bulk.
A High-Vis Orange core runs through the protective structure, visible through the clear outer layer. It adds a visual cue inspired by high-intensity environments without changing the case's function.
The ring on the back is just 2.7mm thick. Inside are eight layers of precision components. It rotates through 360 degrees, opens to 180 degrees, and locks at different angles. Horizontal for video. Vertical for calls. Tilted low for quick map checks or recipe reading while cooking.
TORRAS tested the mechanism through 30,000 folds and rotations. When it closes, it sits flush with the shell. No hinge protruding. No hardware stack on the rear.

Ostand Shot is TORRAS' concept for using the case’s magnetic hold and rotating stand to support spontaneous, hands-free shooting and creation. By attaching the phone to compatible metal surfaces, users can quickly create stable shooting setups. A refrigerator door for a cooking demo. A gym rack for filming a workout. A compatible metal surface while traveling for a quick group shot or time-lapse.
The idea is not simply to hold the phone in place. It is to free your hands to create.
Getting the finish right took 576 texture adjustments. The matte surface is smooth but not slick. Rock-inspired side textures sit where fingers naturally grip. The material resists sweat, dirt, and everyday marks.
That matters once the phone leaves a clean desk. Sweaty hands on a run. Dusty fingers at a campsite. One-handed use walking through an airport. Greasy fingers after a roadside meal. Rain on a trail. Each of these puts more demand on a case than a studio product photo ever will.
Inside, a flocked lining carries an Everest-inspired contour pattern. The coordinates of Mount Everest are hidden in the case itself. These details do not affect protection performance. They just give the design some character without adding another logo to the outside.
The Q3 Air Pro sits at the top of the Q3 lineup. The Q3 Air uses a simpler single-layer airbag design and also features a rotating stand, offering a lighter option within the family. The Q3 Rugged is the entry-level model, built for straightforward everyday use. All three were on display at IFA.
