6. The Verdict

The lack of jaw-dropping results from the BA24j aren't as much an indication of a problem with the product as they are a testament to the improvement in performance due to both the robustness of 802.11g's OFDM modulation technique and improved radio technology. Wireless LAN performance characteristics are highly dependent on the equipment used and the area that it's used in, and the test results I obtained in testing the BA24j are no exception.

Renasis has produced a nice little (really!) 2.4 GHz signal booster in a handy form-factor that will probably be a good addition to many wireless networkers' bag of range-improvement tricks. But your results can and will vary, not only with the BA24j, but also with any other WLAN signal enhancement product.
